Steam Guard confirmations don't work when purchasing from marketplace
What the title says. I put in a buy order for an item for a game, it tells me to confirm on the mobile app, I open it, it tells me the details of who put it in and where, I press confirm, and... Nothing happens. Money isn't removed from my wallet, my item doesn't appear, and no history is generated. I added $10, "bought" an item, confirmed it, and I still have $10 and it's as if I never placed an order at all. I can understand wanting to have confirmations for both buying and selling items above a certain price threshold, but this is ridiculous. Does anyone else have this problem? And if so, how did you fix it?

Not sure, but just making sure => https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/dev/apikey. Does this URL list any entries instead of merely asking for a domain name? Because if it does then there's a good chance that your account got compromised.

I don't think I have ever had to use a domain URL before. Not sure how my account would be compromised considering I have my steam guard active with 2FA just fine. But no, there are no entries when I go to that link.

Here you go OP, I have figured it out, sign in on your mobile, purchase the cards using your mobile ONLY, confirm the transaction and you should see your wallet balance drop soon after the confirmation. Multiple purchases do not work, it needs to be done individually using only your mobile.

Leave the steam market page up of whatever item you are trying to buy then confirm it on your phone and it will work.

I figured this out by accident. I tried it the first time and it didn't show up until I closed the screen, so assumed that didn't work, but the 2nd time it did. Ever since then my purchases haven't actually needed confirmation. Such an odd decision but it's fixed now, thank you.

np and you dont need to confirm every single trade, Its just some trades then it stops completely for awhile (For me i dont have to confirm anything again for weeks) Thats how it works now.
