I went into this game knowing what it's about and what to expect, but damn......
I think for a big chunk of the game I wasn't very affected by the story or characters even though I did love them, but sometimes it just would hit you like a truck and it's so..... I don't know. For a game about grief, it surely did capture it & how it works really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ well.

The art, the writing, the music, the characters, everything about this game is so beautiful and so gentle in some kind of way. I loved every part of it so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ much.

I think this was the perfect game to end my year with, it helped me reflect a lot on myself and the experiences I went through and faced this year. and I'm just very glad I decided to boot up this game and stick with it.

I'm posting a negative review as a warning for people potentially suffering from epilepsy.

This game flashbangs you. a LOT. And there's no option for a filter or to remove/reduce the flashy visuals.

Such wonderful gameplay and storyline, but I had to stop playing because of how intense the flashing is. Now to go nurse the migraine I've got...

ABSOLUTE CINEMA! i played this game just to feel something and man it hit me right in the feels!
This game did not left me feeling empty after finishing it instead i feel fulfilled after i let everybody go, the acceptance stage feels good that's how i felt at the end of my journey in this game :))

Peaceful, nice to have a "cozy" game that isn't a farming sim. Beautiful art style and wonderful characters, despite themes of death it feels like an embrace. Definitely recommend.

It's pretty cute. Heck, I admit i probably cried a tiny bit once or twice.
Half the fun is figuring out how the cute animals died and how your lady fits into the world.
The mini games are pretty fun, too. There's a bit too much crafty micro management for me to enjoy it a second time. So I'm missing one achievement, that requires an almost full repeat playthrough to get a different choice regarding one animal's love life.
Late game there's an upgrade making completionism easier, but I didn't know about it and got everything 'the hard way'.

I have never cared more about a frog.

I was spending my Christmas with this game and do not regret anything.

It's absolutely beautiful and well written. I cried and I laughed during this game. And I'm not even finished it yet.
This game gives you comfort about death and describe it really peaceful. Everyone should give this masterpiece a try. This is what an excellent game looks like.

This game has co-op but I think you should experience this game by yourself.

I first played this on my switch when it first came out years ago and since then it's had such a special place in my heart, its honestly one of my top games I've played and wasn't expecting it to be so emotional! The artstyle and music is beautiful, I got it on steam to get all the achievements and it was fun to relive the game again :3 now I keep nagging my boyfriend to play it and I can't wait to experience his first time with me and seeing his reaction to the game!
