This feels like an early prototype that was never finished. It looks nice but there's no game here. There's no game loop, no decisions, no challenge, and no real intrigue. Run to the next place and press A. The only difficulty is I'm often not sure where the next place is. I got bored so fast. My time played is deceiving due to how often I would set the controller down and check my phone or wander off to do something else.

I am very interested in this game play of this game. However, the description states you may use an xbox or other controller except when I loaded the game it would not allow for controller play.

if i could i would give this game a "mid thumb". i really enjoyed the first like 12-15 hours but holy s*** this game is basically only fetch quest after fetch quest. like you literally dont do anything else the entire game, always the same. go from point a to b and deliver this item. always back and forth, you do nothing more in this game.
the last 4 hours of the game it basically became a visual novel and i just spammed through the super long dialogues cuz otherwise it would have been double the 4 hours (i almost quit because of how tedious and boring the last 4 hours sadly were)...

the german translation sometimes had wrong grammar and stuff but its nothing too bad and didnt really annoy me. the jumping feels a bit clunky and sometimes you would get stuck on edges but nothing to gamebreaking.

story was nothing special but for a game like this its okay. it was kind of enjoyable the first 10ish hours. i wished there would be more to do in the ocean, like you would see dolphins and stuff like this but its basically everywhere the same.

ik, it sounds like i totally hate that game and it didnt make fun at all but thats not the case. i get it, its a small team probably and for what the game is, its really okay-goodish (if thats a word lol). i really like games like tchia and wind waker (they got inspired by windwaker a bit i guess, in a good way ofc haha) and am always looking for similar games to this.

idk if anyone would agree with me to this but the best part of the game for me was probably the music. i really enjoyed it and was never really boring. i also enjoyed the farming and stuff at the beginning but it got kinda boring soon. to be fair im not a cozy games player and most of the time i dont really enjoy them since they are a bit too boring for my taste.

i overall liked the "vibe" of the game (aka wind waker and tchia kind of game) since i dont find those game that often.

characters are fun and goodish written but at the end, paired with the annoying fetch quests they just got so annoying me, sadly.


OVERALL, its a "fun", cute little game but should have been way way shorter (like 10 hours or so and not 20 like it took for me). if you got it for free, go try it. its fun but if you dont like fetch quests (like me) you will probably get bored really soon sadly.
max is like 5$ for that game for me. im glad i got the game for free since i always wanted to play their other game, which is a 3D platformer set in the same universe with the same main character. the 3D platformer looks way way funnier to me, probably since i love 3D platformers a lot lol and at a good discount i will probably get that game.
