hello is there anyway to reset the game to the beginning?

What am i supposed to do while waiting for the crops to grow for the quests? Yes i can mine, cut trees etc. but for what? I have lots of materials but there is nothing to do with them, you only craft something when the game tells you to do for a mission. Am i supposed to just sleep 4-5 days until crops finish growing?...

I don't know what is wrong but I can't plant a.k.a cant get trough the tutorial. I play on PC and it just wont work. Nothing happens when i klick the mouse button. I can pick the oranges without problem and till the soil but when i try to plant nothing happens...
