It doesn't really say what it means by "look at Miku from different angles"

I don't see this in the tutorial or the guides (but maybe I'm forgetting) - what's up with the bombs? Are they to be avoided at all costs, or bounced back? Sometimes I see some confetti when I (think I) miss them, what's that?

On the store page, all of the screenshots of this game look extremely blurry. Is that how that how the actual game looks?
