This game is a very in-depth, engaging and highly unique turn based strategy game that while a little bit slow, is very much worth giving a shot if you love xcom or other similar games, and also tells a nice story.

For anyone who likes this game though, you absolutely need play the RogueTech mod. It is essentially a mod that puts the entire 40+ year history of the BattleTech TTRPG into the game. 3000+ Mechs, about as many weapons, complete mechanic overhauls, somehow the option to convert the game into an online factions game. It's the most impressive mod I've ever seen. nothing comes close.

I really dont know where to put this game. Without mods its just good enough to be hollow shell of a great game, with mods this is one of the greatest games ever made.

Roguetech is the reason i bought this game , and without it i dont think i would have really bothered. If you are buying this or even ifs its a game you already own, i highly recommend you give Roguetech a try

Bought 2 copies of this with the intention to play PvP with my friend just to find out that the company has discontinued official multiplayer support. They recommend that people download a mod made by a community member instead to re-enable multiplayer, but we were unable to play a game without getting disconnected.
