One of the greatest games I've ever played. Just obscure enough to not feel mainstream, and that's always a plus for me.

The world of this game is fantastic. The play between magic and technology, and depth of the characters, and the range of options and what becomes accessible or not based on character design makes for potent replay value.

I grew so much through this world of Arcanum and learning from the Dwarves and Elves. The perspectives aren't just fantasty - it applies to our real world. And this was one of the first games I ever played where that bridge was connected.

King Loghaire, that wisdom of perspective you shared about humans and technology changed me forever.

I played this game before it was on Steam. ♥♥♥♥ Blacktooth did so much work to patch it and unlock content that was trapped behind bugs and an unfinished project that the game was for its budget and timeline being cut short.

A beautiful game that still encourages the use of our imaginations for the low resolution of the graphics within it.

And the MUSIC!!!! That violin, oh, this is my all-time favorite game world. I hope we see more of it someday. If there were one VR immersive world I'd like to experience, I'd vote for this one.

I don't care for seeing the Madame's Brothel as the primary picture representing this game on the Steam store - though I appreciate the humor in it, it detracts from the AMAZING storyline and profound depth that this game contains.

This was one of my very first favorite RPG's and still is today. I had all of the important features a good RPG should have. character creation, free roam, great story/plot, and it was the first in a Steampunk setting. You also have early percussion firearms which is very cool and you can craft. all of this is the very early 2000's. You now also have a ton of new story campaigns in the form of mods to download on the internet. Its a classic that I come back to every now and then. its a shame we have never seen a sequel.
