Great game. As someone who plays mainly for the characters and story, the singleplayer experience is pretty good. Arcade mode is fun and the Melty Blood story as a whole is great. If you're a fan of Tsukihime it's worth picking up just to mess around with and see the characters in action. The soundtrack is also absolutely amazing and full of incredible variety.
Unfortunately, it doesn't have rollback if you're interested in multiplayer, though I've had fun playing with others regardless of the lag.
