In the ocean of generic animu 2d fighters like blazblue, dbfz, guilty gear, under night, kof, etc. What makes melty blood stand out? How is it better/worse/different than the others?

Currently None of my other keybinds work on Keyboard other than h,j,k,l And there's really nothing else i can do, This also confused me at the start of the game where I couldn't do anything to pick a gamemode!! Please help if you can!
