Overall, the game has potential but should be shorter (no pointless fillers for playtime/price), needs better animations (not expecting 3A quality, but some are so bad they break the atmosphere), and has too many time-consuming puzzles. Hard to stay immersed.

This game started great!
Good acting, atmosphere, everything fits.
What's that, some test I can't pass even if I maxed out on that skill? Cool, so that implies there is a New game+ where I get to discover more as a more veteran investigator, right?

Instead the game degenerate after chapter 9, removing all the investigation, going full on the supernatural/dream/horror sequences, and in the end rushing to give you 4 different endings none of which are impactful because they last maybe 30 seconds each and are as banal as you can get.
That New Game+ wasn't there either, so you have an RPG mechanic that is only relevant for the first half of the game, why even bother to have it in the game?

Not a horror games fan but a Lovecraft fan. This game is epic
