I bought it as soon as it was available today. So far, I am quite liking it. Still, I wish I could select a version with the original Westernized names as an option. I'm so used to them, I keep wishing they were there!

Seeing Miley being called Mairu in this game feels strange. The cultural translation of the original game had its charm, and although it remains in the original, in this one it can't be changed. What a disappointment.

That's not really a "disappointment".

It's pretty unreasonable to ask them to localize all the text when only a small percentage of people want it like that. I would personally be disappointed if they had forcibly localized the text like last time.

Yay, I avoided the game because the stupid westerni...ahem, Americanization, now I can finally play it without cringing!

If I play a Japanese story game I don't want it to be set in the US, Germany, Nigeria, or wherever, same if the story would be set in Paris, I would then want to see the original story with French characters just the same.

This kind of localization feels usually like censorship to me, so I'm very glad about the rerelease.
