I try to open the Gold Edition, but it just says "Failed to Open Movie" and shows me a black box. Is there anything even different in the Gold Edition?

Can someone tell me, where the Wizardry 7 game files and the characters are saved?

I just finished Wizardry 6 and imported my characters into this game. When I start up though, some of my characters keep suddenly dying. It's not from combat, I just take a couple steps and they go from full HP to dead. If I resurrect them, they die again. Equipping nothing to the characters that are dying prevents it, but that's not really a viable solution. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm playing the regular DOS version....

What is the highest score you have ever ♥♥♥♥♥♥ when creating a character? I rolled a 24 on my fairy and managed to make a ninja. I got him level 3 now and just look at those stats. https://i.imgur.com/FQ1VcL6.jpeg

I confess to being fantastically rusty when it comes to Wiz 6/7, though I played and beat the latter Back In The Day, so if I am not up on contemporary Wiz 6/7 theorycrafting, apologies in advance.
