As I said, this is a false common misconception; Pro Skater 4 - American Wasteland are an in-house engine.
You're free to ask ex-employees on sites like Twitter, you don't have to just hear it from me.
HD from 2012 was done by Robomodo, they also made ""Pro Skater 5". Parts of them are in the 1+2 code base.
While that statement is true, it's basically the same engine up until 2012 HD version which used unreal engine
Renderwear was the engine but they modified it a bit.
