Game mentions in description the words day and night yet there is no night. It is a washed out gray fog. With what our gaming systems and the software used to design these games are capable of I will never understand this use of a washed out fog over a beautiful night time and lighting.

Great game, great concept. then it falls flat on its face. Huge balance issues. Gliders should be called parachutes. You can't really glider anywhere. The enemies are either a cake walk or you die in one shot. The Tech tree is too much all over the place. it seem like they just kept adding things to add them. enemies will re-spawn while you are fighting their neighbors and you have to fight your way in and out of every camp. The bosses are completely OP compared to the enemies surrounding them. I'm Lv 50 fighting Lv. 30 minions and then the boss at the end is Lv100?? The night hordes don't follow any path system. they just plow straight to you, so setting up any kind of a layered defense is pointless. Whatever is directly between you and them they just bash away at. I have built many different base designs with traps and a easy path to me, they just go around to the side and beat their way through the walls. I love the concept, love the lore and the controls are easy to pick up. i'm 30/70 Like/Dislike at this point.

IFSS has a ton of potential. Currently, you will notice subpar game performance, clunky mechanics and some things that simply don't make sense. No doubt, there are a ton of suggestions that will make the game great. However, when reading negative reviews (which this is not), keep in mind that the game is still in very early stages. There are two primary reasons I think it has a lot of potential.

1. It's not pay to win (yet) and gives everyone a level playing field. Achievements are purely through game play, not credit card swipes. I don't have anything against PTW, but it's refreshing playing a game in this genre that rewards on play time
2. The developers are active in forums and they address, or respond to most comments and suggestions. When game developers are (and remain) active in the community, its a sure recipe for success

I'm not going to comment on what the game is about or how it looks and feels as there are enough videos and online content out there to see if it's something you will like. There are a lack of guides and tips/tricks, but that makes it more fun and rewarding to play - when you discover it and get to share it with everyone else.
