This game was great when I played it back then in the PS3 in 2012. Today it can be summarized in three words:
Long, boring, and repetitive.
The visual style and music are very appealing, and I dig the vibe. I just wish there were more to do than the main two kind of puzzles:
1. Rotate the screen till everything fits.
2. Learn a whole new language and decode every bit of ancient dialogue this game has. Which is just adding an extra step to puzzles that resolve like the 1st example.

In another time, in another place, this game was great. But time has changed and the Indie game landscape is very different from what it was back then. A great style and a solid vibe is no longer enough to sell a game to younger (and older, like me) gamers who have changed with the time. And this game, is sadly, like those old and boring games from the Atari, Commodore and NES that back then seemed so exciting, but you never play for anything but nostalgia A product of its time.

11 years later, FEZ has aged really well! An amazing fusion between 2D Platformer and 3D Plaformer! Overall, if your looking for a video game that combines both genres into 1. Play FEZ! Amazing work Polytron and Trapdoor! Farewell FEZ!

I really enjoyed the game's art and music, level design, and puzzles. There was a massive amount of effort put into this game, both by the devs in making the puzzles and the players in solving them. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a smart puzzle platformer.
