Don't buy or play this under any circumstance, Frag Lab is essentially a dead company being puppeted by a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ blockchain company in Miami. This is a dead game that was previously a promising multiplayer hero shooter that was rugpulled from Steam and placed on EGS with a bunch of NFT crap.

Back in 2024 Frag Lab announced that they had to downsize staff and abandon their office in Kyiv, and were looking for help keeping the game alive, but unfortunately that came from a Miami-based Blockchain/NFT company called Faraway. Frag Lab had previously announced taking the game down under the guise of finishing it before a proper release, but under Faraway they pulled the game from Steam entirely, released it again on the EGS, added a bunch of NFT/Blockchain crap, and offered Steam players a "migration package" if they decided to come over.

Since Steam doesn't allow for Blockchain/NFTs, this release is a stripped down version that is nothing more than a single player campaign.

From F2P arena shooter with a good gameplay loop to a crypto scam to now a $10 single-player scam. They have now deleted half their game and brought it back to steam to charge you money. This game is NOT worth any dollar spent or any of the time I did once put into it.

After an absence of over a year, Shatterline returns in a paid single-player experience, with a FPS action campaign consisting of a few missions.

For now, I'd say the game isn't worth it... The campaign has a selection of a few missions that won't take you more than 6 hours (or even 4 hours if you rush). For that price, I have to say it's extremely light...

On top of that, the missions are extremely repetitive, the dialogue is poorly developed, there are few bosses, very few customization options and weapon selection, some characters are missing (compared to the previous version), and the experience quickly becomes boring...

The gameplay itself remains enjoyable and dynamic, the graphics are still decent, and for those who have kept the game since then, you can still access it without having to pay.

We'll see what this game will offer us in the future (without DLCs I hope), but for the moment it's not worth your time and money !
