NFT?! no thanks.

The devs of this game have abandoned the community they built, DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME ON EPIC. They do not care about us and have turned their game into micro-transaction HELL. I cannot degrade this company enough, the game WAS great but they have destroyed everything they built.

2022: Frag Lab LLC confirmed via A1RDOG on Discord that there were no plans for NFTs.
2024: Frag Lab LLC announces the 'retirement' of Shatterline on Steam.
2024: Frag Lab LLC also announces a new partnership, which turns out to be with Faraway.

Faraway is a game studio that uses NFTs in their games; they have published three relatively insignificant titles.
Faraway confirms that NFTs will be implemented via HV Drones in PvE (uncertain about PvP) in Shatterline.
Faraway, as confirmed by Discord server admin 'Paley', has been working with Frag Lab LLC since 2022 on their web3 integration. Web3 refers to technologies like blockchain that decentralize data ownership and control on the internet.

Frag Lab LLC is 'retiring' Shatterline on Steam because, fun fact, Steam doesn't allow NFT/blockchain games. Have fun on Epic. Shady business practices by Frag Lab LLC. By the way, Frag Lab LLC didn't reveal the name of the company they were working with until it came to light via leaked messages, and then Faraway confirmed working with them. How transparent. Dead game anyway.
