This is a very light down vote. The game is good from what I can see, but the camera is AWFUL it gives This weird fish-eye lense that distorts the sides of the screen. I've fiddled with the field of view and other settings and nothing fixes it.

Also the enemies hit way too hard in my opinion...

Fun game. Plays like Quake. Maps are fun and Quake like. Just needs more fun cards to chose from. Great work Devs.

It's INCREDIBLY rough.

-Cards are a gimmick, but they force you to pick them up in every level, yes, they do LITERALLY block progression on more than one occasion- you can ignore them and then run in circles because some of them are coded to open doors when you pick them up. I don't know why they did this, you basically find your favorites within the first two levels and then just stop caring about them because you can only ever have 1 of each randomly-decided-and-in-no-way-more-powerful-than-one-another "tier".... So why are they in every level, and why are you forced to pick them up? At least the gun and altfire repeats give ammo, but the card repeats give nothing and waste your time with the animations and repicking what you already picked and liked several levels ago.

-Prodeus-type level design, by which I mean it assumes you constantly start with only the shovel, has repeats of everything (including weapon altfire pickups) after the levels you initially get whatever it is in, has a speedrun leaderboard (this is NOT a game about going fast, why is this here), randomly saves either when you need it, or just in some random hallway and not before the rampage/arena, randomly gives you health and armor with no regard to how much damage you might take or how much ammo you might use in a given area, or it might keep you on the back foot for several rooms in a row, you can't really predict it at all.

-There are enemies around just about every corner, just like Forgive Me Father 1, and every. single. area. is. a. TRAP. Turn off auto run in the settings, go very slowly, check your corners, sidestrafe when you open doors and 180 whenever you put a key into a slot on a wall or push a button on a wall, learn how to snipe with the pistol and gattling gun at a moment's notice, learn how to switch between your shotgun and pistol-sniper, and learn how to sidestrafe the second you hear an alert noise because sniping is all your enemies do the second you get in their LoS, and I do mean the SECOND you do so, but all their projectiles, for the most part, are defeated by sidestrafing even just a tiny bit. Oh, and also learn how to do all that on tiny platforms in the FIRST LEVEL, but then rarely have it happen later on because progression and ramp-up is apparently a myth? It's even guilty of the Boltgun / Painkiller sin of "oh we need to fill an arena! Quick, spam every enemy introduced so far into it over the course of a few waves and call it done!"

-Signposting is little to none, on more than one occasion you'll have 10+ directions you can go in, but only ONE is progression, but it looks exactly like all the other directions and has no unique features to tell you it's the right way to go. Let me put it this way: in the Sewer level, you get to a part where you need to turn two valves to open a door. ONE of them is at the end of a very obvious progression hallway/pathway, the other is practically in a Secret because it shows a Rebreather and a Water entrance in the room with the other valve from where that obvious progression hallway leads, but none of the nearby water areas actually have the entrance to that room, not even the one IN THAT ROOM, and the rooms you can go back into, that also have water entrances and exits to multiple other rooms, have no hints as to which of the many water areas in the level could possibly lead back to that singular tiny room you need to get into, and those areas with those other possible water entrances/exits have other connecting areas you were already in to get other previous progression items in. (This is also where I stopped, but is that really surprising.)

-Things like the Jet Boots and the Spectral Shovel are given grand entrances and tutorial segments, but then turn out to be taken away every level like they're mere powerups. The jet boots even tell you that you can get up to three extra jumps, but you only ever really get one and they get taken away, so.... Why even bother saying anything? On the shovel end, it's literally just another key, you only use it to progress through the levels and backtrack because it only works on weird blue textures that are only placed like shortcuts for backtracking or directly for necessary progression, outside of the one outlier in the first arena you get after getting the thing initially. Oh, and shoutout to the Fury for feeling like absolutely nothing. Queedo's voicelines make it out like it's a huge power boost, but all I've noticed is a 20% fire rate boost and a weird screen overlay + powered-up hud-face while it's on.

Shortly put, no, I don't recommend it in its current state. It's as rough and all over the place as a freshly exploded stone grave.
