So suddenly getting loading screens that don't end. Was told to turn off vsync. Did so and it loaded up but I'm on chapter 5 waiting for the last fight with the regenerator and he doesn't show up and this is apparently because I turned vsync off? What?

The game is in an unplayable state and needs tweaking or modding in order for it to be played. Anybody have a good strategy for the Med Lab fight? I cant beat it, too many monsters from all directions. Tried using the doorway in the little side room but the beast one keeps getting back up. Help?
