Halloween Song Contest

Last month's Halloween Song Contest on the ODDADA Discord server was a real treat! We were blown away by all the spooky tunes you created. Special shoutout to our winners:

I would like the game to have some things including: 1st a ship system so with the new update you can ship to your friends, so basically you can ship it. 2nd copy system, you can copy the cassette tapes, also this would be useful if you choose to add shipping. Lastly maybe money? so you can buy stuff. These are just ideas that you can add....

Hello everyone!! We're excited to announce to you the ODDADA Halloween Update 🎃

Not only does this upgrade include a small content update with:

a new spooky scale
2 new sound pieces
3 new stickers

But also:

We are launching a Halloween Song Contest on our Discord server starting today, on the 27th of October, until the 3rd of November!

There's 3 prizes to be won - in the form of Steam gift cards - in the following 3 categories:

Controls

Made Knobs interactable via both horizontal and vertical mouse movements.
Made Knobs interactable via controller.

Menus & UI

Resolved a visual glitch where the train's roof would jump when clicked.
Fixed possible color bleeding during transitions between scenes.
Updated the icon for the Desktop Shortcut for Windows.
Updated Splash Screen.

Localization

Fixed a text break issue in the Train Screen for French.

Save System

Optimized the performance and resilience for saving cassettes.
Prepared save files and UI for future updates.

Bug Tracking

Enhanced local logging system to make it easier finding bugs in the future.
- Important: This logging system is completely offline and local to your device. We do not have access to these logs unless you choose to send them to us. If you encounter issues and wish to share your logs for support, you'll need to manually send them to us.

Needs more ways to add pauses.

Some instuments, like the new 8-pin digletts, can't make pauses between sounds and it just becomes a wall of noise, ruining every attempt at beat and structure. Also I think we need to have at least a 2-part recording system for most of the instruments, because 1-bar intsruments clash with 4-bar ones, and with two variations of 1-bar it will be at least somewhat dynamic instead of, again, wall of noise....

hello, I bought this game to try because I found the visuals, cute and unique interactive design really approachable to start exploring music. I really appreciate the ease of entry compared to complex setup of other music production tools like DAWs. Through the process of creating the first tape, I enjoyed working with the different toys / instruments at my own pace, comparing them with the previous ones and imagining how it might turn out finally. Love it! Only wish for longer cassette recordings.

i really appriciate the limitations this games set, you have to make do with what you have, which leads to inspired creativity, its been proven countless times in the art that limits drive creativity. The ONLY thing I feel that should not be limited is how long the cassette is. I wanna get really lost in my recording process and feel like a DJ just mixing and dropping out different sections. I hope you guys add this feature! :)...

honestly what i needed in my life.. a lot of the games i play are very competitive and sometimes too stressful... had this in the background and suddenly, i instantly felt better. PLS PLAY THIS GAME, I LOVE IT SO MUCH !!
