Like seriously why. The game looks good but it would undoubtedly be better if they just had good 2D art without the pixel art nonsense. Why do people do this? It's not necessary, there are no technical limitations that require it.

Because I've really wanted to play a game like sotn ever since sotn. Only thing that was ever comparable to me to sotn was aria of sorrow which is a great game. But the sequel on steam is in a really ugly divided screen with pointless face portraits and half sized maps. It looks pretty bad so I'm turned off by the dominoes collection. So the only other game I can see like sotn is this. So just wondering how does this compare to sotn? I don't care that it's got a more feminine elf fantasy flavor because tha...
