Super fun roguelike with lots of builds. Lots of mechanics to keep track of but thats the fun part

What if slay the spire but in the game industry the game. The game structure mostly follows what was made popular with slay the spire except your "deck" isn't completely customisable and behaves a bit differently. Normally, you'd want to dump your basic cards like attack and defend and focus on skills because they are usually more energy effecient. For example in other games, for 1 energy, you might have a basic card that does 5 damage and a skill that does 4 damage twice for the same amount of energy, making it a clear upgrade in 99% of scenarios. In this game, your basic attacks and defenses can get additional "mods" and, in my opinion, are much more valuable than the skills you can pick up along the way other than 0 cost cards. You can stack debuffs or buffs on these cards. Another point to note is that you -can't- dump those basic attack and defense cards either so you have to integrate them in your strategy.

Often card game strategy involves redrawing cards to eliminate or reduce the "luck" aspect of drawing cards. In this game, as a QOL feature, you get redraws as a ressource. You also essentially have 2 stats you need to manage. Your HP and your sanity, which are healed and drained by seperate actions.

The game also has some "meme like" content like a chad called gabe that likes steam which you can see in the pictures for the game.

Some people say the game is like earthbound but I think it's mostly limited to how fights look.

This game is a blast. The writing and references to the gaming industry and community are hilarious. But beyond that it has a highly addictive game loop. It's also much more challenging than you would initially think. I HIGHLY recommend this game. You can tell a lot of love and passion went in to this game, which unfortunately isn't seen in the gaming industry as much anymore. St the very least grab the demo, and give it a go. I'm positive you will want to get the full game soon after.
