cause they released a beta. people played the game so much during its test phase that they got bored of it before its release. and us people that pre order the game get an unpleasant surprise. thanks punkfish thanks alot for maknig a coop game.

Is there an AI monster option or does it have to be a player? Not really interested having a DBD style game, looking for more of a co op horror with friends as we are running out of horror games.

I personally is a devoted player in Monstrum, watching a lot of streamers playing through the first game, dived into mechanics and tried speedrunning the game. To me Monstrum1 was successful because of its replayability, tremendous monster designs, and the contrast between no BGM when wandering and scary BGM in horrifying chasing sequences. I have heard a lot of streamers and players of the original game advising Monstrum2 to make slight changes of the gameplay, but upgrading the VFX, having more monsters...

or make it possible to choose the server yourself!

But seriously speaking, it's good that the game has become free, at least now they will enter it and motivate developers to make content for it. But honestly, I would have refunded the money if I hadn't spent 50 hours in this game.
