I personally is a devoted player in Monstrum, watching a lot of streamers playing through the first game, dived into mechanics and tried speedrunning the game. To me Monstrum1 was successful because of its replayability, tremendous monster designs, and the contrast between no BGM when wandering and scary BGM in horrifying chasing sequences.
