Can you tell me which states the Allies took? It would then be possible to create those events for Europe in Asia...
Also, the Province in Aleppo State (Syria), which lies in the very North West was given to Turkey in 1939, so that could be one. The Area is called Hatay today.
AND the City of Danzig was in fact a independent City State unter Polish supervision.
Can you please name a few provinces in Europe first which need historical names? Thanks!
German State Pommern isn't technicaly "wrong", but naming it "Vorpommern" is not only historically correct, but also gives the adjecent Hinterpommern state more sense.
Eastern Istria in Italy is the "actual" Istria. The other Istria essentially covers the City of Triest, thus just naming it "Triest" is the best option.
South Odessa State in Romania covers a Region called "Budjak"
Polish Wilno could be renamed "Wilejka", as Wilno is the Polish Name of Vilnius in Lithuania. Thus you could Name Vilnius State "Wilno"
Also in Poland "East Bialystok" coudl eb renamed "Grodno" after its largest City.
Regarding Brandenburg, Ostmark and West Posen, that one isn't easy to fix. Remodeling the Borders of those states would make things easier, as Brandenburg State in-game contains territory of two modern german Provinces, "Brandenburg" and "Sachsen-Anhalt". West Posen would become the new "Ostmark" in that case.
If you want to depict the German occupation zones also historically correct, then the new "Sachsen-Anhalt" State also need the three Eastermost Provinces of Adjacent Hannover State.
And in this Case Württemberg would need a split with the northern Part starting at Stuttgart. This Part woudl remain Württemberg state, the Southern Part coudl be either named "Baden" or "Hohenzollern".
If you do the German Zones, then the Austrian Zones would also become necessary.
"South Prussia" Covers an Area called "Masuren"
And Northern Serbia was the Western Part of the Region called Banat thus "Western Banat" would fit
Regarding the German occupation Provinces, as I know it's kinda hard to explain border Shifts, here's what those new Provinces could look like:
