Update 4.1 - New game required. RELEASED

UPDATE*


Fixed village relations always lowering.
Added Commoners Trust to character screen.
Removed debug info showing.
Various other small fixes.




Old saves will still work but you will need a new game to reset village relations.







I have had some time this week to progress much more with the mod than anticipated so i have a new release nearly ready. Current changelog below.

Unfortunately it will break saves so i'm unsure if i should release here or just ModDB. Thoughts??

It does fix some important issues.



Changed

Added 2 new companions gained from random quests - Brog Matter, Reed Matter. (Patreon pledge tiers). There is quite a lot of content for these so there will be an option to turn them off or on. (not yet fully implemented)
Many changes to the campaign map.
Changed campaign map textures so they look better with HDR turned on.
Added 1x lord, 3x castles and 2x villages to the Iron Islands.
Added 3x lord, 3x castles and 3x villages to Westeros.
Added 7x lords, 7x castles and 7x villages to Essos.
Cleaned up initial loading screen.
Changed some map icons, updated some others.
Changed size of nearly all map icons.
Changed name and location of duplicated settlement Fawnton.
The players son or daughter should now have the same colour hair as the player - fixes issues for people playing as Valyrian.
Added a max value to land wind which will hopefully stop the crazy tree dances.
Slightly increased grass flora amount.
Improved religion code for villages - this 'should' stop issues with the player sometimes not being able to recruit from villages due to negative relations.
Added Wooden Scene Props pack from Adorno (https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,380806.0.html)
Added 6x villages scenes from Gokiller (https://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,380806.0.html)

Adjusted banners in Kings Landing keep.
Fixed incorrect outer terrain for Giants Lance.
Fixed incorrect outer terrain for Shipbreaker.
Fixed incorrect outer terrain for Whispering.
Fixed incorrect outer terrain for Ryamsport.




Fixed

Updated incorrect stamina mechanics in tournaments and in the arena.
Fixed some villages showing the incorrect icons.
Fixed some incorrect strings showing for some villages.
Fixed random events sometimes firing when performing work for a village.
Fixed remaining issues with Oldtown ships getting stuck.
Fixed enslaved villages not always resetting correctly.

Can you please fix issue with recruiters just staying in one spot and not moving?

Is not possible prevent marshalship for lords that never leave castle (or disable this feature) - eg. in my game Walder Fray is marshal of Riverland and as he is jsut sitting at Twins, most lords around him doing nothing to fight their wars.

This is a good point, i shall put this on my list, though it probably wont be until after 4.1

Which recruiters? All recruiters move around apart from some specific to some towns.

yes i went through the whole thing and searched on google for quite som time tried multitude of solutions reinstaling game redownloading mod screwing around in options but i still crash randomly when loading battles/castles cities and about 100 days to the game i crash everytime i go to battle or settlement. I mean my rig is not too bad on viking conquest i dont have problems on sieges with 750 battle size but here i crash constantly. And it pisses me of cuz this is such a good mod but i literally cant play it :(

Have you turned the scenic menu off, thats the first place to start and alos try playing with load terxtured on demand. This mod has a lot of textures which is mostly what causes the crashes, Warband engine is not very optimised for it.

Dont you have any tip how mitigate memory leak issue? I know it is native issue but paritcularly AWOIAF and ACOK cause me troubles (likely due expensive textures) and force me restart game every few battles. Performance is fine otherwise I ahve usually no crashes. Can there be set some extra vvirtual memory on something? Just figured that graphic setting dont affect it much and battle size maybe a bit but no significant change in general...

Btw one of update you mention here is world texture improve with HDR - at same time HDR is suggested to turn off in mod description. And I agree with that. I personaly experience graphic glitches with HDR on (mainly light sources like torches)

Yes im playing with HDR off and disabled scenic menus also i have ticked load textures on demand and turned antialising, shadows, shaders to lowest realistic shadows on platns to highest as the in-game popup told me and still crashing.

There is no way that i know of to mitigate the memory leak, its an engine issue and we have no access to that.

HDR can cause the game to slow down if you have a weak computer, though some people prefer to play with it on and some of the textures looked terrible before, now they look good with no difference to playing with it off as before.

I have removed the suggestion text now.

Thanks for the new update , can not wait to start a new game.
Will there be a new update soon? Because I started a new game after the release of 4.0 and now its gone too, jeez...
If there will be 4.2 like 4 days later i´ll wait with restarting my game for the 3rd time
