Some of the NPCs in inns (travelers) can help locate lost companions. Maybe try that?
If all else fails, just wait for the next update, which will apparently be soon, which will likely break your saved game anyway

Also, if you tried the teleport cheat to visit all taverns to see if the companions were there, there may not have been enough time between your defeat and the reset timer for tavern NPCs. Try waiting a day or two in-game time and see if they spawn. Also, note that there seem to be more companions in the game than there are spawning locations for them in taverns; so your companions might not all spawn at once; you might have to go get all those that do spawn, then wait for a bit, and then go back for the second wave.
