Sieges and Allies
So even with an 8 command I cannot get a personal army of 250 men (which I do not understand at all) and that is the minimum needed to block off an enemy castle during a siege so far as I can tell. So I brought allies with me after being named Martial of the Riverlands to lay siege to a castle taken over by the Iron Born, over 1,000 soldiers are with me with my allies included, but I still cannot block access to the enemy castle, only my contingent of soldiers is available for any of the siege work and worse yet I continually get ambushed while trying to prepare an assault that I hope to god my allies will be joining and have to fight off the attackers on my own with no help.

Why is it like this? Is there some kind of programming difficulty that makes it so that my allied soldiers that I am commander of can't be added to the manpower pool for the siege or was this a concious decision? If so why?

Also I know in vanilla if you are martial you can send someone to launch a siege and then join it, but I can't figure out that trick in this mod.

A few things go into party size; Renown, Leadership and Charisma, as well as the amount of fiefs you own. If you have companions that have high leadership/charisma in you party, that adds to what you are able to command. Owning a few castles will add to it too, so try playing around with a few different combinations, win a few more battles, and get yourself some high level companions (like Selmy)

Thanks for answering my question about military size, its certainly different from vanilla warband. I still would like to know more about the second part of this question and why my 1,000+ allied soldiers cannot join with the siege camp.
