Cheat Menu
Untill the Author releases a version publicly that adds the item menu I have made a menu.txt version that adds the item menu back in and leaves the new cheats intact as well. So far i have encountered no bugs but please tell me if you find any.

To navigate to the file you need to replace go to the steam workshp folder for me its D:\Programs\Steam\steamapps\workshop\ locate the folder 48700 (should be warband) and then find the mods folder 948075218 in there you will find the menus.txt open it just to check if it is the correct one in the 3rd line it should have a few words and numbers and then say "you enter a world of deceit and treachery" if so just replace the file

ALWAYS BACK UP YOUR SAVES AND THE ORIGINAL MENU.TXT BEFORE DOING ANYTHING!!!

DISCLAIMER: The item menu was removed from the mod for a reason it can lag up the game due to the high ammount of textures since the engine wasn't designed for that and might cause textures to go black for the current session i recomend saving before using it and after using it. If the texture bug happens you can simply save, restart the game and load said save and it will usually be fixed.

DISCLAIMER NR2: Since there could be unforseen differences between the 2 menu.txt files (because i cant test everything) i would recommend you use the item menu, save and exit and then go back to the original file to make sure everything works as it should. The items will stay and the menus will be working like they are supposed to. If you dont do this it could happen that some menus/dialouges are messed up a bit.

PS: thanks to space_lettuce_OG for making the first working Menu.txt that added the menu back. I used it as a reference for updating the file and I also added a couple of funcitons back that your version accidentally removed

hi nick0, can you make any stat changes to the items ? The reason I ask is because the 2/1 handed sword you get from the ore given by jon snow is wrong. if going by the list there are two one handers that are identical statwise but look different. I think one of these should be the awesome one we used to get prior to the most recent updates. They are at the bottom of the page of all the valaryan weapons. one at each side. I have raised the issue but received no reply.

thanks for doing this facility. I have found to avoid the crashes when using the find item facility is as soon as the visuals in the list go blank, to exit the cheat menu and make a save then restart the game. That way you avoid all the lost time going through and buying your shopping list. I havent tried exit and save after buying each item (that may work too) It certainly looks like the crashes are video based from what I can discern

hey JollyJack Tar. Yes I could edit the wepon stats. I would however need to know the exact name of the weapon and the stats you want the weapon to have.

about the avoiding crashes when textures go missing. yeah. the crashes happen because the engine tried to render stuff that it simply CANT, thats why once the textures stop loading correctly saving and restarting is best.

So does this worrk on 6.2 or not? cuz i saw your oother thread, and that didnt work for me.
( i see all options except 'Find Items', ive checked the txt file and it seems to be alright

This is insane that the devs have done update after update but can't just add that back in. I have 2000 hours in this game, most of which I'm sure on this mod, I just want the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Hound's helmet.

i have tried copy replace, and completely removing the original menus.txt and replacing it with that one, but i still have no cheat menuy/ the ~ key does not open a text box forr commands. im not sure what the issue is on my end.


Edit: I stand corrected. evidently restarting my computer fixed it....what the hell is wrong with technology?
