No horse in towns
Why is it somtimes I am mounted and othertimes I am not? while in a town.

if you just arrived at town you will be mounted but if you were in a tavern or inside lord's hall you will be on foot when wandering the streets. Sorry for my english

Just to add,

Getting in the town first time
-via land mostly going to be mounted, some place really don't allow mounts
-via sea is either depending on the town I think. but mostly walking and you'll be at the docks most of the time.

if you went to tavern, hall, buy or sell stuff or talk to mayor/village elder before strolling, that means you are already inside so you're gonna be walking.


This are just my observation even in normal Warband and also Viking Conquest where this mod's base.
