They need to either be a short-term event, or be far less common.
Luckily, you can go into your save file, search for Tremor (which should be under <activeConditions>) and remove the event when it's happening.
Found the file on my computer under Steam>steamapps>workshop>content>294100>935948526>Defs>Incidents but I am not sure the numbers on the folders are the same on all downloads.
Yea thats great... but only done when you make a new world
If you are able to make a on/off switch to it, that would be even better, but simply removing it would beat the entire point of events to the ground.
They might be lethal for mountain colonies, but so is 3 consecutive raids thrown at you by Randy or the storytellers trying to actively kill your colonists because you passed the hard cap.
