Ethnic Units
What's the difference between this and RED Modpack?
They both do relatively the same thing, but what's the main differences? Does this mod have more units retextured?

I believe this has differnt(and maybe more) skins and dont rescale the units.

It has a larger variety of skins, as far as I can tell.
Larger variety for the units it reskins, so some nations will have all units with new skins and some will have no units with reskins, and City States are at Defaults.

Red tends to generalize the skins so it's more region based, it uses less skins and a lot of the defaults, but with distict skins for some individual units, including City States, which to my knowledge this doesn't

Red also rescales the models

It's all on preference, really.

This mod is works with the nuke removal mod "Minus The Mushroom Clouds" by Rillithain. In R.E.D, the units return to their default textures.
Is this compatible with red modpack??
...No. It's not. Their two seperate mods, and they tend to overlap textures.

Using both will simply crash your system.
So which one would you all say has the more or better skins RED or Ethnic Units? Are there skins that RED has that this just leaves in Vanilla?
I'd say about 1/4th of RED are vanilla skins, but they're mixed in so you don't really notice and it applies the skins to everyone. Its more like a regional ethnic grouping with some cultural flair (like British Redcoats, or French Swordsman, ect) otherwise the Europe would all be similar, Asia would all be similar, ect.. yeah they leave in some Vanilla though if it makes sense.

Ethnic Units is weird; some cultures have 100% unit skins, some have 0%, but it has the same amount of Vanilla skins as RED, but for less variety. This means that while they have 5 Civs that are fully reskinned and 10 that are half reskinned, the remaining 10 have no skins at all. Also, Ethnic Units doesn't apply the skins to City States like RED does. Personally, I like RED.

TLDR;
RED - Skins for all, but not as many
- Cultural Flair for everyone
- City States get skins

Ethnic Units - Skins for most, but some with none
- The civs with Skins usually have a lot of them, and they're all unique
- Larger models means you can see the skins better

I personally think that we need a mod that re-skins every unit of every nation in a unique form including city states and giving the option to re-scale the units or not. Basically some kind of combination of Ethnic Units and RED Modpack.

How can I enable the scaling of RED and the skins of Ethnic?

Thanks for any replies.

I think there's a seperate mod for Scaling units... I look around on the workshop
I found this is connected to late game messages of "Game Memory running low". Any help would be nice here
