Does this mod affect FPS?

How much does it affect?
I have tested the following below with no change in FPS:

-Vehicle, Plane, Helicopter, and Boat explosions from vanilla and mods
-Artillery including Zeus Enhanced with Fire Support+
-Ambient Flybys from multiple Planes
-Grenades, IED's, Infantry weapons including modded, Civilian vehicles/aircraft
-Miniguns from all vehicles/aircraft

Hope this helps. (Dips in FPS occurred due to big firefights/multi explosions but verified the same drop with mod disabled.)

If it works like the old ArmA 2 mod did then it just changes the sound files themselves, it doesn't really affect performance, just swaps the sounds with better recordings. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
