User request: Tank Armour Hit Sounds
Hello,

This is a great mod. Would you be able to add tank armour hit sounds. So that when a tank is hit by a tank shell you hear a steely bash/dong/clang sound. I have tried myself but not yet succeeded. your modding skills are light years ahead of mine and I thought you could do it.

I have some sound samples I can give you to help as well.

We tried that by adding scripts and all a while back but things went down hill as soon as everything came together. The performance, lags, unable to join server, multiplayer lags, RPTs and so on made me decide to drop it.

Currently there is a possibility within arma itself I believe but I haven't checked latest configurations yet.

Thanks for writing back. I am glad that it is getting some attention. It must be hard to do even for top modders.

I hope the latest configurations make it possible as this is an important missing feature for tank combat. It worked ok in Iron Front 44 and A2 so there is hope for A3.

I'm going to update the mid further and add those kinda sounds eventually.
