Space Hygiene
It would be epic to have gravship-friendly hygiene options which are perhaps more resource intensive while using less precious floorspace.

Water tanks: Similar design to gravship fueltanks. Fillable from bodies of freshwater on the planet's surface, via a hose or pipes and a shipside pump. Higher risk of contamination if surface water isn't filtered?

Water recycling: wastewater is filtered, purified, and recycled to refill the gravship's water tanks. Some lost in the process perhaps, eventually necessitating a planteside refill.

I think the rest of the existing Bad Hygiene features are already pretty compatible with ships, where appropriate :D

i also think it'd be nice to have a sewage collection tank, for if you want to convert fecal sludge into chemfuel via biofuel refinery, instead of having to manually clean up sewage from a sewage drain on the ground.

i know there's septic tanks, but colonists dont inherently collect from a septic tank IIRC.

Per Dubs' comment 11 hours ago as of this post, this is now a thing!
Regarding fecal sludge for chemfuel, you can set septic tanks to auto-drain, which IIRC just extracts the poop. It has an adjustable threshold (ie "drain at X%")

Updated.

Water grid no longer generates in space
New ice grids generate on asteroids.
Added Cryogenic extraction node that needs to slowly heat up and melt the ice to pipe it, then if it loses power or breaks down it refreezes and has to heat up again.
Added 1000L single cell water storage tank.
Added Vac toilet which pipes to a sewage dump port to eject waste directly into space, requiring no water or sewage capacity.
Added Water recovery system which allows all connected showers and sinks to recover all the water used.
pawns shouldn't be able to do their business on the floor in a vacuum anymore, or use toilets or showers in a vacuum.

I have an idea, which I suspect requires c#, and as such is outside of my abilities

but
I would love if I could hook up the grav engine to to the water system and use it for cooling
I imagine doing this would:
1: speed up cooling post jump
2: disable the overheating event

perhaps afterward, when the water is hot, it could be used for hot water?
Or hook the whole thing up to a steam turbine (similar to a nuclear powerplant, in that you run water over a Hot Thing, then turbine go spinny)

is this feasible do you think?
i wonder if it is possible to have vac suit to have space diaper to be part of it. irl, space suits all have diapers so astronauts can do their business without problem i think we still get defecated in open debuff in space?
I think this is would be a good opportunity to revamp life support. Currently the O2 Pumps only consume a tiny amount of electricity, it would make more sense if they consumed water as well, and frankly a lot more power.

That in addition to the other ideas like ice mining, water recycling, perhaps some sort of automated solid waste to chemfuel processing and vac-toilets would really add to the immersion.

space haven (aka rimworld in space) had ice to water and water recycling, if worked there will work here
can you please make the vac toilet stuffed

maybe you could add a timer for an auto well or a work amount to drill a new well but let people put them on the ship hull, that way every time you go to a new map the well equipment comes with but you would have to drill a new hole, like rimfeller, the ice melter seems cool but incredibly impractical, since you cant move it around if you're making an asteroid base, can't put it on ships, and cant see the ice in the asteroid before you land, maybe just increase the capacity of water tanks so people can really fill the ship up? dunno but this mod lowkey makes the being chased by mechanoids start annoying with how many wells i gotta construct on the run

Got a request here:
Could we please also get a 2x2, or 2x4 Water tank? Especially bigger ships will need a higher amount of water, so a larger tank would make sense. (Also costing 4 times/Twice as much ofc.)

You can just set the septic tank to auto drain above 0% full.

But yeah, it would be nice if biofuel refinery had plumping and and chemfuel pipe connections.

Thanks for keeping this mod up to date for so long. I noticed that linking is undone by the gravship moving location. Not to big of an issue, but maybe something to look into.

On this note it would be very cool if we could get some big ice chunks in frozen bioms, bring them to our ship and put into some kind of melter tank to melt them to water. This would also help very much to get water on orbital platforms, where there are no water/ice mashes at all
Idea: Small-ish above-ground swimming tank for gravships and/or rednecks. Obviously the large ground pool doesn't make sense with the structure of a ship, but a plunge pool could be nice for recreation and aquatic lifeforms. Or space ducks.

Extra points if it completely collapses during rough landings and floods everything :D
