I'm concerned about the heat exchanger being installed away from the wall.

water well, should be place able on the gravship. I understand it might not be super logical. but it's a lot of fun to setup. Right now I use ancient hydrants, made usable by a mod, I think it's usable ancient junk or similar, and they will pump water and can be installed on a ship. It's not OP and it's fun to use. Often I immediately have water when landing instead of manual uninstalling and reinstalling the water well.

hi dubwise,
any chance you could add some extra stuff for helixien gas? i mean water heaters, mainly, but there's surely 2-3 more things that would do great :>

report issue and solution at github issue tracker
erike 30 Aug @ 4:56pm
@XDelphi Thanks, can't believe I've been missing that lol
Kryton 30 Aug @ 4:44pm
No ice grid is created for mined areas except the natural rock bottom.
Kryton 30 Aug @ 4:40pm
Looks like there's a bug where the ice grid on the asteroid disappears during saving and loading.
cherry-wave 27 Aug @ 11:38am
Windmill pumps count gravship foundation as roof, is this intended?
thesoupiest 27 Aug @ 8:18am
It is absolutely insane how expensive water heating is, electrically
Omega13 26 Aug @ 10:18pm
Just confirmed: Yes, Wasters can get sick from drinking contaminated water. That is very silly and should probably be fixed.
Omega13 26 Aug @ 6:49pm
So, if you have an entire colony of wasters or tox-immune characters, do you still risk disease for having a contaminated water tower?
Ravayen 26 Aug @ 10:17am
Can you really not rotate the swimming pool? no matter how i rotate it the stairs are always top left length ways my poor room design needs them to be bottom right (literally unplayable).
Paprikahörnchen 26 Aug @ 5:58am
Is there no modern well? One between deep well and primitive.
XDelphi 26 Aug @ 5:18am
@erike Not crazy, but it's no longer an option as DBH now has regular pipes and underground pipe (hidden) variants. If using regular pipes, you may need to relay the hidden ones.
erike 24 Aug @ 4:32pm
Am I going crazy or is pipe visibility no longer an option in the mod settings?
BrandonVG-Español 24 Aug @ 3:58pm
esto funciona en la gravinave?
Eugene Harp 24 Aug @ 11:44am
How can I disable the pawns' need for water with the "body mastery" perk?
The Bard of Hearts 24 Aug @ 12:41am
@Halfman
You are looking for a mod called "Tweaks Galore"
Halfman 24 Aug @ 12:16am
Could it be possible to get some of the research consolidated? Or an option for this? Like medieval techs in one node and industrial in one or two?

Feels off for me that figuring out how a power shower and smart toitlet works takes almost as long as a geothermal generator.
Jet 23 Aug @ 9:44pm
Yeah no sludge is a problem. couldnt u build a shuttle to still travel to asteroids and get water that way though? there is research for that
Aargh Tenna 23 Aug @ 6:28pm
There is no way to get water on orbital platforms - correct? Vacuum toilets are good, but what about showers etc. Also, using vacuum toilets disables sludge. Sort of realistic, but also a bit problematic, since we can not mine ice in space.
Eugene Harp 23 Aug @ 12:39am
Сразу оговорюсь. Полностью отключать жажду не хочу. Хочу чтобы пешки, которым ненадо кушать, так-же не надобыло и пить воду.
Eugene Harp 23 Aug @ 12:37am
Если пешка с полным владением тела не будет пить воду и сляжет от обезвоживания, то никто эту пешку напоить не сможет. Можно ли как-то отключить эту нужду у подобных пешек?
Bannes 22 Aug @ 11:37pm
is there a solution for babies and thirst need they cant be given water and die of dehydration
The Bard of Hearts 22 Aug @ 8:29pm
I think you're right about requiring a mod to uninstall the coolers. But I think its more of a conflict with whatever mod is allowing me to do so and this particular mod. Only reason being is because I've uninstalled them for years now to save on wood. Only now became an issue since using DBH. So some function between the two doesn't play well together.
VitaKaninen 22 Aug @ 6:17pm
Passive coolers can't be uninstalled without using another mod, so I doubt many people have this issue, and I would chalk this up to some buildings just not being compatible with being minified.
The Bard of Hearts 22 Aug @ 6:11pm
Incase anyone else comes across the issue I was having. I found the solution. I had two "Passive Coolers" upended and sitting in storage. Deconstructing those two things made the tick rate go back to normal immediately.
The Bard of Hearts 22 Aug @ 6:08pm
Using your performance analyzer, it clocked this mod with 13.9ms/tick for CheckWaterFillable. I'm still early game with only two pawns, using a well and two water troughs. It's bogging the game down pretty bad. Anything I can do to fix this?
Rasperry 21 Aug @ 5:17pm
This is prpbably an old problem, but I cant be assed to search this long comment section.
Ive got a body mastery pawn in prison, and I cant have my wardens give her water.
I intend to eventually ghoulify her, but the dehydration debuff seems to stick onto ghouls no matter what.
Is this just something Ill need to devmode out?
Jet 20 Aug @ 11:28am
@m1911a1 oversize see i thought that too, but i had one installed. already and it was only regular toillets that give me no sewage capacity notif, space toilet doesnt, although it doesnt let me use it manually when right clicking
M1911A1 Oversize® 20 Aug @ 2:28am
@jet you have to use sewage dump ports
Muffintitan 19 Aug @ 9:09am
Link beds and bathrooms seam to reset every time you launch a gravship. not that big of an issue but figured i would share.
Jet 19 Aug @ 2:24am
i added regular toilet and bath to my ship, a well outside, an electric pump, even added water treatment building and water storages with the sewage dump port too....but my amenties with the exception of showers and vacuum toilet say no sewage capacity...what am i missing? I did add a sewage outlet port, but its inside my ship, right above a storage box with a bunch of fecal sludge contained. Its right next to my refinery with the idea being the shit is ready to be processed into fuel.... is the problem that the outlet cannot be placed inside a room and has to face out - even if its more practical to be setup this way for energy purposes?
Pyrrhist 17 Aug @ 10:18am
Any chance on either the mod author or somebody else oneday making a mod to add the link bed functionality from the toilets and things to tables so people can have their own homes with owned dining rooms without random people and strangers coming in to use it?
Laecard 17 Aug @ 7:42am
I did some more testing. The problem seems to be caused by a incompatibility between this mod and character editor.
Laecard 17 Aug @ 7:15am
For some reason this mod causes cataphract helmets to not give vacuum resistance. Prestige cataphract helmets still give vacuum resistance but not the regular ones for some reason.
proletariat 16 Aug @ 7:12am
Hello, I really like your MOD. It has almost become one of the must-have MODs for me when playing Rimworld. So, may I ask if you have considered adding some baby-related structures in future updates to this MOD? For example, structures like baby swimming tanks that can help babies stay in a good mood and reduce the likelihood of crying; or allowing caregivers and their parents to use bathtubs to clean them. Because even babies in real life have the right to close physical contact and play with water, and I think they can enjoy the same happiness in the game too.

pawns no longer auto pack water in version 1.5 from fountains, wells etc in my save after going into the pit! please help!
any way to restart this behavior that was nulled so i dont have to manually keep water stocked up?
Omega13 16 Aug @ 3:32am
Had a "minor gravship crash" that simultaneously destroyed all of my water tanks, so there's probably an undesirable interaction going on there. Had that happened while going into orbit, it would have been an unavoidable game over.
The Bard of Hearts 16 Aug @ 12:10am
@Lydocia
I THINK the small water bing (the grey one that looks like a kegger) is suppose to collect rain water. At least it says so in the description. Never had need of it though.
lydocia 15 Aug @ 6:41am
Could we get a way to collect water from rain, please?
화밀 wMil 15 Aug @ 12:48am
using water instead of wood for Passive cooler feature seems not working
栖迟月下 14 Aug @ 10:35pm
I don't know why, but whenever an uninstalled item from this MOD (leftover blueprint) remains on my field, error windows keep popping up. It only returns to normal after reinstalling or deleting the item.If error reporting documents are needed, I can provide them
AJABOOBOO 14 Aug @ 5:45pm
something odd happened. playing in 1.5 and now pawns just stopped picking up water bottled from sinks etc automatically.
Terallis 14 Aug @ 2:48pm
So, not sure if I'm doing something wrong or it's not actually a thing. Is it possible to make stuff like water pipes and such available, even when using the Lite mode? I personally use it with thirst enabled, but I also use Rimatomics and another mod that adds space ports to work with Hospitality. But in both cases, water pipes are needed for something. But without fully enabling this mod, I don't see. To have access to building them anywhere, so none of that stuff from those other mods will work proper.
Nepenthe 14 Aug @ 7:16am
Protip: Sewage dump ports look a lot like oxygen pumps when you're building in a hurry, and if you'd not careful you'll end up in orbit with no air and raw sewage spraying into every room.
Tiolol 12 Aug @ 3:38pm
Hi, big fan. Just noticed an issue with prisoners with the Body Mastery perk. I had imprisoned this pawn to recruit him after he was revealed to be a traitor, and after that the thirst need kicked in and he died of dehydration, even though he's not supposed to need food or water. Anyway, please keep up the good work.

What If You Want To Use The Wild Man Start From Vanilla Factions Expanded - Tribals? Couldn’t You Just Make An Option For Using A Bush And/Or A Tree To Self-Fertilise To Deal With Need To Empty A Wild Man’s Bladder/Bowel?
thesoupiest 12 Aug @ 9:25am
I will personally smooch you on the body part of your choosing if you add some kind of well that can be built on a gravship substructure. Rebuilding wells every time I move is kind of a pain in the buttcheeks
XDelphi 12 Aug @ 8:43am
@crockett Early-ish game water tanks hold 2000L per tank and only occupy one cell - easy to squeeze in and fill pre-launch for short-term travel. Late-ish game, I fill huge water towers (50kL x 2) while on the surface at a home base or temporary settlement, plus the occasional restock with a cryogenic extraction node from ice deposits in orbit, which I have a pumping station on board to draw from. I use a water recovery system to recycle any sinks and showers, reducing my daily output of water. I could further reduce my water output by using vacuum toilets, but I prefer the normal smart ones so water consumed by colonists and toilets are my main water outlay each day. The recovery system is pretty OP imo, it seems to have 0 loss, so once you've got the wealth and tech to setup the system you can be fairly sustainable from my experience.
