I think what you mean is it says to press the E key...

Well then why don't you submit a log and take the damn screenshot?

You know that you can just use the beam up/down button on the side panel, right? If that's not available then it means that S.A.I.L. isn't yet active. Exhaust its dialogue until it gives you a quest.

you can not beam down from your ship if you press interact key on teleporter you just lie down and it says somthing about finding a key but alas i can not leave ship to find a key and i can not gain access to the ship locker or the a.i. who is asleep

no offense but there is a bug report
Also if your using a mod that changes S.A.I.L then its most likly not compatible
