I think it'd take some scripting to make a portable version, but that doesn't mean it can't happen. I'll see if I can figure out a good way to do it.

There is already a protable teleporter that acts like one you place. Maybe take a look at that?

I think that if you didn't have to place it and it would bring you back to the place where you entered would be nice the problem with the portable teleporter is that it dosn't bring you back to the place where you teliported from. The item that I (and I think the author of this discusion) am thinking of is more like a Spector Key from a Minecraft mod.

You should do something like the cyberspace could be used as a passage that would work like a teleporter except you have to walk trough cyberspace to reach the other end.

It woul be nice and pretty rad if we had another type of mission that used random cyberspaces so we could keep on doing the whole 'jack in steal the data and leave' thing, over and over.

Something like the challenge rooms, that pick randomly from a set number of rooms each time you open the door.

Sice you can get pixels out of the cyber mission, maybe we could have to use a certain item to 'open' that cyberspace, as to balance the benefit.

Can you add some mobs in the "Jack In." Also it'd be grate if there was a cyber race in there with cyber villages! The Cyber Race can just be some race in cyber armor. Finally, make the "Hack" course randomly generated to make it more difficult

Three suggestions:
One, have an animated feature to the binary data blocks. Cyberspace is the internet, where data's always being transmitted. It gets boring to have this still image background in what's supposed to be cyberspace itself.
Two, a longer piece of music for cyberspace would be much preferred. The literal two second loop gets incredibly grating after a single minute of not otherwise occupying yourself.

Apex, Glitch or Novakids in cyber armor? Any of those three in cyber armor. It'd be really neat to see what sort of 'cyber villages' would be come up with. Perhaps the different buildings are based off different high-traffic internet sites irl [perhaps have some psycho SJWs living in [strike]tumblr[/strike] blue apartments with white rooms].
Reeeeeeeeally interested to see more from this mod; virtual reality is like, my aesthetic.

My only suggestion is to either make cyberspace a LOT bigger or add multiple worlds. at least small planet sized? There's hardly enough room to build an apartment tower. Otherwise, great mod! Love it a lot.

Honestly too, it'd be nice to still have a cyber background in the sandbox so you don't see the generic cave background for upturfing a chunk of the data blocks.
