1. Cabinet system: allows you to spare some ducats and monarchy power for your "cabinet", and your cabinet will use these resources to development your provinces (constructing buildings, using province edicts, etc). Note that cabinet is not just aprovince auto-management system, it will also affect gameplay significantly in the future.
2、National Progress: This is the replacement of vanilla mission tree. Instead of simply giving missions like "conquering this" or "building that", we want it to be a core system that reflects the path a nation choose to advance. For example, the economic branch allows players to centralize taxation system, create a national bank, encourage private company, etc. while the military path let you choose different doctrines like you do in HOI4.
1. Timeline Extension: 1356 - 1899
2. Population system: Population will be introduced as the basis of Commerce, Production and Agriculture. Each "pop" has its own literacy, culture, religion, etc.
3. Industrial age and world economy system.
4. Political system
Estate rework is already in our plan, but it will not be like the estate system in MT. Instead, it will play an important role part in our new political&ideology system.
Thanks a lot for replying and Im sorry for so much asking, I just love the mod and cannot play the game without it :D
The patch we just released is 4.23 patch, not 4.3. The previews here are about major future updates, not the NEXT update.
Cultural rework and cabinet system will be added in 4.3. We keep our words.
also imo atm using provence edicts is pretty hard and sometimes idk why i cant use some desicions
i love your mod
peace.
I would also love to see navy upgrading reworked. Rn, having a decent, up-to-standards navy is absurdly expensive compared to land forces. This comes from the price but also the fact that its an all-at-once thing. I'd love to see a built in "upgrade over time" function for navies. Maybe have events that trigger new ships spawning correlate to naval tradition or being ahead in dip tech. It should still be VERY expensive without needing 50 years worth of income to upgrade every time.
Major Features:
1. Population System: Population introduced as a base value of the province. There are different types of population including major pop types like commercial or agricultural pops, and special pops like nobles, scholars, bureaucrats and officers which are closely related to GC, Literacy and Militarization. Population system does not replace current CU mechanics, but supplements them with a more realistic and interesting basis.
2. New Culture System: Not the ethnic system introduced before, this new system reflects a country's achievements in art, philosophy, architecture, etc. Create and collect art pieces for your museums, attract great minds from all over the world, hold ceremony to forge national pride within your people and build great wonders that can stand the test of time. Protect them well from enemy raid and bombard. Eventually you can use your cultural advantage to make your country the envy of the world.
Patch 4.6 will be compatible with EU 1.26 and "Dharma" dlc.
