You must make a new game to let this impossibilities in eu4. Or hardcoding eu4, anyways hardcoding makes a new game. But i will look and possibly play your mod.

It has been 4 years since I upload this CU version to steam. In order to let more steam players to know this mod, we have uploaded a new one(still named Common Universalis) and this one has been renamed and will cease to update.

Please search and subscribe to "Common Universalis" mod for further update.

I started the game as Castile and Poland. In both cases I immediately got a popup saying "Government Reform abolished." Clicking ok crashed the game.

I have no other mods enabled.

The only DLC and immersion packs I have enabled are: Conquest of Paradise, Wealth of Nations, Res Publica, Art of War, El Dorado, Common Sense, The Cossacks, Rights of Man, Mandate of Heaven, Cradle of Civilization, Dharma, some music packs (Conquest of Constantinople, Fredman's Epistles, Fredman's Midsummer Epistles) and some unit packs (100 years war unit pack, horsemen of the crescent unit pack).

@Maximus The mod is showing as Common Universalis Local and when I started the game with the mod on it seemed to start the vanilla game. Tried restarting but it didn't seem to work.

CU 4.8 is now in alpha test and will be released soon. 1.29 compatibility, vic2-like research mechanics(technology is gained from province research points instead of MP), and tons of balance tweaks.

Technology rework, yeah, we finally made it.

Can I just say this mod is to me the best mod for EU4. The perfect combination of increase of complexity while keeping core vanilla mechanics intact. To the team working on this you are doing the lord's work and should all be hired full time to work on EU5. Thank you for all your work!

Where can I download older versions of CU ?

I fixed it. I reverted my EU4 to the 1.28.3 version, deleted everything in my mod folder and redownloaded common. It worked for me atleast.

Is 1.29 compatibility still in the works? Curious to see how the CU team would polish this "Manchu" update. Surely PDS provided *some* useful materials to work with?

Separately, I think Reddit or Paradox Forums threads of CU updates should be useful, given how Steam Workshop can be unstable.

Is anybody else having trouble with estates? I’m playing as the Dutch Republic and the estates have swallowed every province around me and almost all of the AI countries suffer massive corruption because of it. The only solution I’ve found is the “crack down on local forces” modifier but I don’t see what that actually does. Is there any way to actually reduce estate influence?

As you have mentioned above in the description, your team is a chinese team.As a hongkonger,I wonder if your team will upload a Chinese version?(Or I just miss it?)

PDX will always release a new version right after you update this mod, and it'll keep happening until EU5.

Is there a way to download the mod folder somewhere, because steam won't download them any more (thx manchu update). I don't know any other way to play outdated mods

When will CU 4.71 come out ? Really like to play this mod with 1.29.

Game crashes when I release state and play as them and I open the government reform. Any ideas?

Hello, I ve got difficulties getting the mod to launch: i ve downgraded to 1.28.3 using the "Beta" in the steam property, downloaded the mod via steam and activated common universalis in the pdx start window, but i still don t get the Common universalis load screen afterwards, any idea what could be wrong ?
