[BUG][1.6] AllowTool freezes all pawn jobs – colonists stay idle

Summary
After loading a map with AllowTool enabled, colonists stop performing any jobs. Even non-haul tasks remain unassigned and pawns sit idle.

Steps to Reproduce
  • Subscribe to AllowTool v1.6 and enable it.
  • Load an existing colony on RimWorld 1.6.
  • Mark some resource for “Urgent Haul” via AllowTool.
  • Open Dev mode and observe the console error (below).
  • Notice colonists no longer start any work, not just hauling.

Console Error
[00:31:59] AllowTool.WorkGiver_HaulUrgently provided target Thing_ChunkSandstone32706 but yielded no actual job for pawn Raffaele. The CanGiveJob and JobOnX methods may not be synchronized.

Expected Behavior
  • Colonists should carry out all assigned jobs—hauling, hauling-urgent, construction, crafting, cleaning, etc.—without freezing.

Actual Behavior
  • No jobs are ever created. Colonists remain idle even when work is queued by vanilla or other mods.

What I’ve Tried
    []Disabled Common Sense mod – no change[]Verified area and permission settings – all clear
  • Restarted game and fresh save – issue persists

Request
Please investigate and publish a 1.6-compatible fix for WorkGiver_HaulUrgently.JobOnThing. This error currently blocks all pawn activity. Any temporary workaround would be greatly appreciated.

I think problem is Priority Haul Job (Haul+), my solo colonist starts to wander when job priority hits Priority haul, after setting it lower priority she started to do higher priority jobs, after disabling P hauling she is working as usual.
Also I do have Many Jobs (C) too, I enabled P Hauling Job for that mod too, when MJc's P haul job is enabled, my colonist wasn't even doing P hauling job, after disabling it from MJc's mod options colonist started to do P haul but starts to wander again after there is no P haul job to do.
If you have the same case, problem is most likely colonists stuck at Haul+ job and doesn't continue next priority job.

This bug happen, when haul urgently job is active. start and save map without this mod, fix this issue. Dont give urgent haul job for items in future.
Also I was looking at "Errors and weird bugs" saw this post.
i aint experienced in fixing bugs but i did happen to have it correct itself for a while by changing the priority and canceling and giving the order again
Can confirm, it seems to be linked to Haul Urgently (Haul+). When nothing is designated, my pawns act normal. As soon as I designate something to be hauled urgently, they start idling.

Edit: And I am not getting any errors in log sadly.

For some reason, switching my pawn's outfits on a outfit rack seemed to free them from being stuck idling. Being that it imposes a forced equip upon them, perhaps they're getting stuck by trying to haul something they cannot reach or is in some way out of their ability to get to?

Any update on this? Not being able to haul urgently is driving me insane...
This is also happening to me, and this mod is essential for me.

I noticed all of his mods have problems this 1.6

5 days into my new world, suddenly everyone goes idle. They do one job when forced, but then go back to doing nothing. Put them in small zones and it works. Expand zones until it doesn't work.
That's when I figured out I had Haul+ Rocks with a stockpile next to it, as soon as both were in the zone it stopped working.

So I forced hauled+ them one by one and this happened:

Yes it looked normal before I tried. AllowTool has Jumpscares now

Having the same issues. Causing pawns to be idle. I disabled Allow Tool and problem went away.
Same problem. I kept reading it was the Pick Up and Haul mod but I deleted it and still have this issue. Time to delete this mod! Unfortunately...

Didnt have any problem with this mod and i have about 300+ of mods. My current colony already survived for 1.5 year. right when this mod was updated. So i think you should stop all this veiled persecution
Am also having this same issue, effecting all pawns work but not eating, sleeping, recreation. They will do urgent hauls, but nothing else unless manually ordered to do so. Only meaningful solution I've found is to unsubscribe from Allow Tool and Allow Tool Patch, problem solved! However I very much love this mod and would like to be able to use it without it effecting my pawns ability to work without micromanaging them.

This bug seems real inconsistent. In 1.6 I have had it happen to colonies that are only a year in but then not once on colonies that have been going for 3+ years (with roughly 10 pawns mind you so I would assume all the more chance for it to happen). Now admittedly between the time it was happening to now where I haven't seen it once for a good number of colonies I have added more mods, maybe through some sheer roundabout way a mod fixes it unintentionally.
