Maybe a 'dungeon' version? "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Asteroid Stations"?
"I would like to note that this mod and truespace don't mix well."

That's a deal breaker. Also, I need FU compatibility. And I don't feel like deleting my universe right now.

Suggestion: How about a separate "Asteroid Stations" version that adds much of the content you've already created here as a sort of "dungeon" or "microdungeon" to Asteroid Fields, instead of as a type of planet "biome"?

Doing so should solve compatibility issues. Dungeons are generated and treated differently from planet generation and biomes. (For example, I use both FU and Truespace and Extra Dungeons still seems to work.)

Also, while ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Space Stations requires the player to delete and respawn their entire Universe, a dungeon mod does not. All a player has to do is visit a new planet (or asteroid field) that no character has been to before.

An example of a dungeon mod which does something along these lines would be More Moon Stuff. But that only affects moons.

you can use it with FU and you dont have to re-start the universe for this to work, nor do you have to do so for ANY mod no matter how much it chages the universe, just if you dont, you have to say, oh inno, click on a arrow for 5 seconds (oh god the horror!)

I coouuuld do this. If there's enough interest in it, I will.

If three more people support this idea I'll make it.

Would definitely download this. It'd make asteroid fields much more interesting.

If this changes anyone's mind - I'm already working on a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Asteroids mod which adds a new monster, more ores, and some dungeons to the biome.

Interesting. I'm looking forward to trying that. Though, it does not change my mind. I'd still like to see space stations on Asteroid Fields, as long as I can install both that and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Asteroids at the same time.

Hah, alright. I'll put it on my big-ass to do list.

Yeah I'd love to see this sort of thing as dungeons within asteroid fields. In fact I think that's how the outpost SHOULD be.

Asteroid fields and moons need content IMO. I've seen mods adding stuff to moons, but I haven't noticed this for asteroid fields (other than a mod adding lots of iron to asteroid generation).

Oh I know the feeling. And I suspect I've forgotten more ideas than I've put down on my lists. The list is definitely bigger than my free time, motivation, and focus allow for.
