Troubleshooting FAQ - need help? Post here
FIRST READ THIS POST BEFORE POSTING OR I WON'T HELP.

Q: "I uninstalled the mod but I lost my save"
A: You need to remove the tech from your character first. Reinstall the mod, pick your character, choose another tech that's not Time Rewind or Time Stop, and then close the game and uninstall the mod. Your character should appear now.

Q: "Time Rewind/Stop doesn't rewind/stop time!"
A: Sometimes the tech gets messed up when it's trying to initialize itself. First type: "/reload" into the chat bar. The game will freeze momentarily, and then will be back. Before you move your character, wait two seconds. Then feel free to move, and try the tech - it should be working now.

Q: "My problem isn't listed here, but I still need help!"
A: Cool, no problem. There are two things I need to know: what mods you currently have installed, and what your starbound.log looks like after the error/crash/problem. So open up your starbound.log (found inside the Starbound/storage/ directory), copy all of it, open up pastebin.com, paste everything there and post it, then post the link below.

I installed the mod but the quest isnt there.

Probably with /enabletech, but techs aren't items, so not with /spawnitem.
I don't know the tech name, so I can't help you there.

For people who want to know, command is /enabletech timestop (for time stop) and /enabletech timecontrol (for rewind)

The game has updated, and I think the mod may be broken now. I'll look into updating it if I get some time/feel motivated to touch the game again.

Edit: Decided to just knock it out now. Mod should be working again!

Everytime I try to join a friend the mod crashes our game is there a fix to this?

Yes, we both have it installed, if I have the Tech on and try to join it crashes. When I try to select the tech in my friends server its not there even though I have it unlocked in SP

Sounds like either your friend doesn't actually have it installed or he's running some conflicting mods. When the game crashes, what does your sb.log file say? Copy+paste the content of that into a pastebin.com link and post that link here, I'll take a look

after i finish the distortionball quest for my f-key tech, the time rewind and time stop tech options aren't there. it's just the vanilla starbound distortion ball transformations

the quest does not show up with FU installed

I have frackin' universe, and this doesn't appear on the scientist. can you help with that?

Time stop also stops the camera so I can't see where my character goes
