After you click the location you want to land at when you start a game, you hit next and go into the character screen. At the bottom of that screen is a button that says "Prepare Carefully". This is all normal, except when you click the button, nothing happens. You just click it and it presses and the screen does not change at all. I fixed this by pressing the back button, and then the next button again, as if to refresh the screen. After doing that, it works again.
Edit: After a little further tinkering, I am sometimes able to use the "Prepare Carefully" button even with an Orassan, but so far only with completely healthy pawns (no injuries at all), and they appear as regular human pawns in the Prepare Carefully screen.
Interesting. Thank you!
Though initially the Relations and Injury tab seem to be functional, if you modify anything they appear to stop functioning for that pawn, and every addtional pawn you generate after the modification. Switching 'random injury' or 'random relationship' doesn't appear to do anything.
Not the end of the world, but though I'd toss out the feedback.
If I, for instance, randomly gen a character and then click on their heath tab, that injury will stay locked in even as I generate more.
Hope that helps!
I'm seeing this issue with the Facial Stuff A16 mod. Are you using that one? It wasn't really compatible with alpha 15 either, but it didn't cause these types of errors. I'll need to try to figure out what's causing the black screen to appear.
might had something to do with me giving my second dude bionic eyes or having orassans installed, who knows?^^
after moving prepare carefully to the top and selecting the tribespeople scenario, everything worked fine. no issues, not even with orassans :D
I'm not sure I'll be able to get the mod to work 100% with Orassans, but I'm working on some changes to the make it more compatible to prevent errors when they are used together.
so in that case, thank you for the tiny issues with your mod?
(it's really just rarely appearing so i had bad luck, but surely it would be cool to be able to start off with customized cat people)
but yeah, if any mod would be incompatible with PC, i would choose PC over everything else
