Food penalties
It has occured to me that whenever I eat well, plant food as a floran (big stupid) it not only gives me a speed debuff but a rather heinous one at that, isn't it only supposed to be 10%?

The debuff to speed is not significant. I suspect something else is at play. Start by checking your mod list, other status effects ,biome, and other environmental effects that might combine.

For example: if you are a floran, with the food debuff, and are on a desert with the desert winds...you'll move a lot slower.

Oh, no, I move INCREDIBLY slowly, even on my ship, and as far as I know, not a lot of my mods are food related? So it couldn't possibly be those...

I tried to remove some of my bigger mods, surprisingly... Nothing to do with those?
