HELP! Getting Started mission not working

I did the crafting mission, then I found the cave, started collecting the core fragments, and went into the cave, did the dungeons and then found the portal, activated it with my core fragments and was teleported to the outpost, but now the portal doesn't work and the mission wasn't completed. When I returned, the mission still says to activate the gate and points to the blue slug.

You installed conflicts and didnt pay attention to the incompatible list on the main page. Please go read it. Seeing a lot of these 'bugs' recently, and they are all self-caused by not paying attention!
