Increasing Lag Over Time
I apologize if this has been brought up before (you can't search in discussions for some reason).
With this mod enabled, the game gets progressively more and more laggy as the save goes on. I've tried disabling vsync and steam overlay and it hasn't helped. Especially in my base the lag is quite bad, and for my friend in co-op it becomes unbearable with any particle effects like rain or sandstorm. Does anyone know of anything that could alleviate this?

Nobody else has reported this issue previously, and we've had years for that. You could have 200 other mods installed, for all we know, loaded with conflicts...or it could be entirely anecdotal. Could be your computer. Could be your base having too many automated machines....etc.

Log please.

This is an issue I've come across and several other people I know. The game eventually becomes more and more stuttery the more you collect, mine or alter the world in some way. I've had severe lag issues on larger structures, too. I was able to fix some of that lag by opening the game in admin modus and using performance enhancing mods.

However, keep in mind that Starbound operates in a questionable client/engine. Some of the performance issues emanate from that, which is something you can hardly fix.

If you use an item network and have an automatic sorter setup installed in your base, it can cause a lot of lag because otherwise it's checking for new inputs every second.

This is mostly a problem for big item networks and you need to use timers to slow down how often the item network checks for new items or your base will start to stutter and lag.

Nah it's just the more objects I place the more it lags I think. Planets with lots of weather effects start to lag more and more as the game goes on as well. Moving fast also causes a pretty massive amount of lag, such as jumping far distances in mech or falling in mech.
