When I first played Frackin Universe, I glossed over the Growing Tables since they required much more resources to maintain than just planting the seed, watering it, and harvesting it. I ask this because it seems that you use a lot of seeds from continuous use. Using fertilizer seemingly makes it more efficient, however it takes a lot of effort and resources to make something like basic fertilizer (for instance, Fertilizer requires salt and ammonium sulfate from core fragments, which are both not very easy to get for me currently).

On my second playthrough, I want to try more things with Frackin Universe and become more automated, however I don't know if the Growing Tables are worth it since they require constant water and fertilizer (to make sure you don't lose all your seeds).
