It's been years, should I play FU?
I haven't played Starbound in a few years, and I'm wondering if you guys think I should stick with Vanilla to get the basics down and see the new content or just jump into Frackin.

I get I could just try it out, but I'm worried I might get far into it and be overwhelmed and want to restart hours in.

For many people, the vanilla game lost a lot of it's good content over the years. You could speedrun the vanilla progression to get back in the game and then make another character using FU

Time has never been better, Q. We just launched 6.0, with a completely revamped game progression system.
