FU Charisma Breakdown
Excerpted from a longer guide to trading in FU in part because it's good standalone info, in part for a double-check on the math and talk about balance.

Charisma, broken down, where I've done the math so you don't have to.



Sources:
Race:
Aegi: +0.10
Kirhos: +0.21
Equipment:
Various Pieces: +0.05
Diplomat Set: +0.25
Charmed Necklace EPP Augment: +0.20
Max non-conflicting from race/gear: (.21+.25+.20)= 0.66

Max a trading station's investment: +1.0


Charisma Bonus Breakdown:
Each +1.0 of Charisma is worth, until capped:
55% less buy price of items
22% more sell price of items

18% less buy price of commodities
7% more sell price of commodities


Breakpoints/Caps:
+3.27 - Min Buy Price of 1.2 for items, 0.4 for commodities
+2.72 - Max Sell Price of 0.9 for items, 1.2 for commodities

Defaults to compare to:
Buy Prices: 3.0 for items, 1.0 for commodities
Sell Prices: 0.3 for items, 1.0 for commodities

Comments on Balance

The one thing that jumped out at me here is how marginal the racial charisma bonuses (And honestly, penalties) are. They could probably be significantly boosted in magnitude for no real detriment to balance. As it stands the charisma stat, at least racially in FU, is a bit cosmetic.

The longterm value of investing in trade stations is huge, both for their shops and for commodity trading, and should not be underestimated.

Investment *also* has a local effect on prices for the station invested in, that is not included in the above numbers. (0.05/level for buying, 0.02/level for selling) While building up your charisma bonus, trade at the stations you have invested in. Investment + Charisma caps at the same hardcap.
